Another Day in Budapest, Another Bath

I love this city….you can “troop” around all morning and then soak in the thermal baths all afternoon.  I did a “practice run” on how to get to the airport for my flight to Zurich on Saturday.  I had to take a tram, a metro subway and figure out where the airport bus stop was located. It was right by these cool wooden benches so I took a rest:

You have to love a city that grows lavender, has a Ferris wheel and a festival in the middle of town:

I took the hop-on hop-off bus and saw a different part of town.  I got off at the Gellert Hotel and Baths;I had lunch first—this cost about $14–notice my personal toothpick holder with the salt and pepper:After my time in the thermal baths I refreshed with a Compari and soda–you can see a little section of The Chain Bridge at the top of this picture:
