After another short overnight trip the Serenade of the Seas got us to Ketchikan. We had scheduled a boat trip to the Mystic Fiords. It took about 2 hours to get into the water passages but the trip was well worth it. The scenery was spectacular and majestic.

We didn’t see any wildlife except for a couple of eagles.

This one was waiting for us when we got back to the ship.
Well…..that is about “all she wrote”. We sailed overnight to get back to Seattle. Then we spent pretty much all day getting back to Cleveland.

The next morning I drove up to Kelly’s Island in Lake Erie (Jen had to go back to work) to meet my brothers: Tom and Bob. I spent the week boating around the islands on Tom’ s Ranger Tug.

Middlebass State Park marina was my favorite. The facilities were great…clean and near the docks. They had flower planters on the docks and the office looked like a private yacht club.

That is it for now…..I’ll probably take a couple trips to Florida and Colorado but I still need more of South American and Africa…..maybe 2022….I’ll keep you posted.
