India is an amazingly beautiful country and this (little only 1 million population) City is a “jewel “. There are 7 lakes that border the city with a beautiful palace/hotel in the middle of the biggest lake. This was the summer retreat for royalty:

We went to see a local dance presentation. The women dancers who moved all about the stage area were amazing. The flames are real and the jugs are all separate and added in stages:

I “ditched” my group and spent a day at a swimming pool at a fancy hotel. It cost $8.50. I had a lovely lunch of eggplant with Marsala seasoning. This is the most popular food additive in India. It has a “kick” and warms up your mouth but is just delicious, especially when you scoop the food up with your naan:
We are off to a rural city, Bundi on an evening train so we can then take the overnight train the next night to Mumbai (Bombay).
