This city is known for warm, sunny weather. It gets 33% more sunny days than the rest of Switzerland. You couldn’t prove it by me. It wasn’t too cold but no sun and no swimming in the lovely pool. I took a guided walking tour and three times during the 2 1/2 hour walk two actors showed up and provided us with some reenactments. I never realized that William Tell really existed (I’m still not sure). He is a “folk hero” for the Swiss people. Because he did not “bow” to honor something he didn’t believe in he was sentenced to shooting an apple that sat on his son’s head. He was successful. He has a statue on the city’s promenade:
